1995 Louis Latour Corton Charlemagne – Nov 15, 1997 – Wine Spectator – Intriguing. More terroir than openly fruity, it’s quite earthy but also has lots of lively, crisp green apple and citrus flavors and a minty note. Medium-bodied. Needs time, try around 2005. Very distinctive; hard to place. Tastes more Burgundian than Californian, but doesn’t show the lovely balance of many ’95 white Burgundies, at least not now.–Chardonnay Challenge. 3,750 cases made.
